CYNEHELM PRESS is a independently owned & operated Canadian micropress. Our digital and print editions leverage the latest in modern publishing tools & technologies to recreate the elegance and beauty of the great books of the past.

As of July 12, 2019, we are releasing our first book. As a one-man show (yes, that's the “royal we”), this press is going to take some time and hard work to get up to speed. The hope is that we have a future as a publisher of (1)new and original content, primarily in fiction; (2)lavish new editions of classic texts in the public domain, edited to a rigorous scholarly standard; and (3)rigorously sourced & reviewed scholarship, primarily in the Humanities.

This little press has been a long time in the making. While other twenty-year-olds in undergrad were discovering frat parties and other diversions, what I really craved was a long stapler so I could staple my little folded chapbooks in the middle. Perfect binding was beyond me in those days; imperfect binding would have to do.
